After my dad’s passing I wanted a pendant with my dad’s remains to keep close to my heart. I started my search on the internet and landed on the website of Grateful Glass. I immediately fell in love with the work of Matthew Olian.

I chose the medium forever pendant and wanted to go with the Amber Purple color. I had some doubts though because of the different possible outcomes with this color and I addressed this in an email with Matt. Promptly he answered me back and attached 20+ pictures of his work with this color in different settings and lighting. And I have to say there was not one example I did not love. So Amber Purple I went with.

When I got my pendant I was in awe. It is gorgeous!
I absolutely love how dynamic the colors are: it changes from a light rose red outlined in silver to a deep blue to a fiery red which scintillates within a purple blue halo, depending on the light. It could not have been a better representation of my dad!

The whole process from start to finish and the communication with Matt is something unique. It instills trust and mutual respect which is pretty hard to find.It is not a mass production. Matt makes the pendant uniquely for you and that shows.

Words cannot express my gratitude and deep appreciation for the opportunity to have such beautiful art to keep my dad near my heart.

I had the heart pendant made with my mom’s ashes. It’s a lovely piece and well crafted, and the color is as shown on the webpage. The artist communicated well and respectfully, and the pendant was received within the expected timeframe. It’s a little larger than I realized, which is good, as some of the other cremation jewelry I looked at was too small for my preference. Very happy with this purchase.

My friends bought this for me. My father passed away suddenly and it's been very hard. This company has been so respectful. I got the collection box which came with a pre-paid shipping label to send it back. They explain it takes 4 to 6 weeks and they send an email confirming the received the ashes and when they are sending the necklace. I got the necklace back and it's beautiful. I can have my dad with me everyday. Not only is the necklace beautiful, but they also sent back the ashes that were not used. Which I'm grateful for. I truly love what they do and how respectful they are.

This was my second purchase from Grateful Glass, first was in 2016 for my daughter's ashes, and this latest purchase for my husband's. Both have exceeded my expectations and are beautiful tributes to them and a testament to your great talent and compassion. Matthew Olian has great pride in his workmanship! He made me a beautiful black “Forever Pendant” with my husband’s ashes. He got it to me very quickly, knowing how excited I was to finally order it after many months of thinking about it. I loved several of the colors, but I figured the black would be worn with almost anything. I had him include two chains, to insure I would never lose it. I love how the two chains sit together. I got the medium pendant, which is plenty big, and some day I may just get another, maybe a small one in the emerald green or royal orange! Thanks again Matt.

My necklace is incredibly beautiful. The ashes over the cobalt blue glass looks like a sky full of stars. I could not have asked for more. I love that I will always have a piece of my mom with me all of the time. The packaging was very thoughtful. The collection kit was nice and tactful, and the box that the necklace was sent to me in was very nice, with the remaining ashes tucked inside. Thank you to Matthew for such a special memorial keepsake ❤️

The Eternal Love Pendant

I could not be happier with the way my pendant turned out and the service Matt provided the entire time. I got the orange and purple pendant because those happen to be my two favorite colors. I figured, what are the chances of that? It's beautiful the way it melts and fluctuates between orange and purple. I love it. And Matt's support is second to none. He very responsive and communicative. He even included an extra something special for a delayed shipment. If you're in the fence, do it. You won't be disappointed.

I first saw Matt’s website at least a dozen years ago and probably more. I have family members all over the country and as people got older I saw how much it bothered them not to be able to travel and visit their loved ones. It was then that I decided I would be cremated and I want some of my remains to be combined in to an orb. I told my son, I then want him to put two google eyes on the orb and I’m to be kept near his computer or TV so we can continue to enjoy things together. At first he thought this was creepy, but now he appreciates it. Well, fast forward to January 2024 and my dad passed away at 89. He also desired to be cremated so I took some of his ashes and sent them to Matt. What I got back is so beautiful and gives me such comfort when I look at it or hold it. I keep it on my computer desk so it is always near me. I like knowing where my dad is, he is right next to me. Matt was wonderful at walking me through the process and keeping me informed. I couldn’t be happier with him or the product.
