The Eternal Orb is handcrafted from optically pure Pyrex glass. Ashes are fist suspended within layers of glass, then spun into a unique spiral pattern, and finally backed with a color of your choice.
• The Orb is roughly 2 ½" in diameter (about the size of a billiard ball)

• A free Collection Kit is provided with every order for the safe & secure delivery of ashes to Grateful Glass

• Each Orb includes elegant presentation packaging as well as a personalized Certificate of Authenticity. A lucite stand is included at no additional charge and an LED light stand is available for purchase

• Because of the handcrafted nature of our products, some variation in color and design/dispersion of ashes should be expected. Likewise, each set of ashes reacts uniquely when encased in hot glass. As a result, certain sets of ashes may be less visible or show up as a slightly different color compared to our sample images.
Shipping is a 3 step process. 1) After placing your order, a collection kit will be mailed to you. 2) You will then return the collection kit complete with your loved one’s ashes to the Grateful Glass studio. 3) Finally, we handcraft your keepsake to order and ship it to you along with any unused ashes.

Shipping of the collection kit as well as your finished keepsake are included for FREE with every order. The return shipment of the collection kit is not included with your order. We have found for the most secure return possible, the kit must be brought in person to your local Post Office for processing.

Our memorials are sensibly sized so that you can always have your loved one close to your heart.

Although the cremation ashes are clearly visible within each keepsake, only the people you choose to share with will actually know what it is.

A long time coming

I first saw Matt’s website at least a dozen years ago and probably more. I have family members all over the country and as people got older I saw how much it bothered them not to be able to travel and visit their loved ones. It was then that I decided I would be cremated and I want some of my remains to be combined in to an orb. I told my son, I then want him to put two google eyes on the orb and I’m to be kept near his computer or TV so we can continue to enjoy things together. At first he thought this was creepy, but now he appreciates it. Well, fast forward to January 2024 and my dad passed away at 89. He also desired to be cremated so I took some of his ashes and sent them to Matt. What I got back is so beautiful and gives me such comfort when I look at it or hold it. I keep it on my computer desk so it is always near me. I like knowing where my dad is, he is right next to me. Matt was wonderful at walking me through the process and keeping me informed. I couldn’t be happier with him or the product.

So Grateful!

My friends bought this for me. My father passed away suddenly and it's been very hard. This company has been so respectful. I got the collection box which came with a pre-paid shipping label to send it back. They explain it takes 4 to 6 weeks and they send an email confirming the received the ashes and when they are sending the necklace. I got the necklace back and it's beautiful. I can have my dad with me everyday. Not only is the necklace beautiful, but they also sent back the ashes that were not used. Which I'm grateful for. I truly love what they do and how respectful they are.
